Infection prevention and control training

Face to face training:
2 hour sessions are being held at Sutton Civic offices every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons throughout November, December and January and will continue through February if the demand is there. 2 hour slots can be booked between 12pm and 5pm to provide greatest flexibility.
The 2 hr session covers:
- How does COVID-19 spread?
- Hand hygiene
- Wearing the right PPE for the job
- How to ‘Don’ PPE appropriately
- How to ‘Doff’ safely
- Waste management
All places must be booked through Sarah Brown via email as we are limited to eight people per session in order to maintain the 2m social distancing recommendations.
Virtual training:
We are also offering virtual training via microsoft teams, covering the same topics, lead by a dedicated Infection Prevention Control Nurse. The sessions tend to run in the afternoon between 2-4pm but can flex to meet your needs.
