Sessional support workers for children with learning disabilities

Sutton Mencap is a leading provider of services to children and adults with a learning disability in Sutton.  As we emerge from lockdown, we are looking to strengthen and expand our children staff team so we can provide our high quality group based services to even more people.

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic people who have experience in providing support to children or adults and have a keen interest and passion in supporting people with learning disabilities. Experience with children who present with behaviour which challenges is desirable. For more information see the attached Job description and person specification.

There are a variety of opportunities for different days and times and an option to be flexible regarding total number of hours. Typical hours are as follows:

Term time: Monday and Tuesday 2.15 – 6.00, Wednesday and Thursday 2.45 – 6.30; Saturdays 9.15 – 3.30.

School holidays: Monday to Friday: 9.15 – 3.30.
