Overview of hot weather over the next 5 days

A north/south split in the weather with increasingly wet and windy conditions across the north, and dry and settled weather to the south. Influence from Ex-Hurricane Humberto possible later in the week. Overall mild conditions expected this week, low impact temperature thresholds are not expected to be reached.

Overview of hot weather over the next 6 to 15 days

Changeable though this period, with spells of strong winds and rain followed by more settled ridges of high pressure, especially across the south. Temperatures expected to be around average by day with chilly nights at times, low impact temperature thresholds are not expected to be reached.

Overview of hot weather over the next 16 to 30 days

Likely unsettled through the second half of October, with spells of wet and windy weather progressing east across all parts of the UK. Temperatures may be a little above average, especially during nights, though given the time of year, low impact temperature thresholds are not expected to be reached.
