Forecast issued by the Met Office on behalf of UKHSA on Friday, 05, September, 2025 at 07:29

Overview of hot weather over the next 5 days

Fine and settled to start Friday and Saturday, but becoming increasingly unsettled once again with spells of strong winds and periods of heavy rain or showers. Temperatures a little above normal to start but soon returning to near normal next week. Low impact temperature thresholds are not expected to be breached.

Overview of hot weather over the next 6 to 15 days

The unsettled spell will likely continue with Atlantic low pressure systems remaining dominant. A chance of more settled conditions developing later in September, though temperatures expected to remain around average. Low impact temperature thresholds are not expected to be breached.

Overview of hot weather over the next 16 to 30 days

Perhaps starting drier and more settled, though likely to see an increasing potential for unsettled and wetter weather developing by the end of the month. Overall temperatures will be near normal, perhaps above in northern pasts at times, though due to the time of year, Low impact temperature thresholds are unlikely to be breached.
