Forecast issued by the Met Office on behalf of UKHSA on Friday, 15, August, 2025 at 08:34

Overview of hot weather over the next 5 days

Temperatures peaking on Friday, with 29/30C likely maximum in many parts, though the north will be cooler. Staying dry thoughout, though an increase in cloud will like reduce maximum temperatures slightly, though they will still be 25-28C into the start of next week.

Overview of hot weather over the next 6 to 15 days

At the start of this period the temperatures will likely reduce below thresholds as high pressure to the northwest allows a cooler northerly flow across most areas. However, temperatures may still be slightly warmer than average, with some hot spells possible in the south.

Overview of hot weather over the next 16 to 30 days

The weather may become more changeable during this period, with spells of rain and showers followed by transient settled periods. Temperatures look like they could be around average, though there is the potential for some warmer periods.
