Forecast issued by the Met Office on behalf of UKHSA on Monday, 28, July, 2025 at 07:50

Overview of hot weather over the next 5 days

A changeable week, with a mixture of dry periods and outbreaks of rain or showers. Temperatures near or slightly above average, perhaps occasionally warm in the south. Temperatures mainly reaching the low to mid twenties C, but some isolated spots may reach 26-27C, especially the second half of the week.

Overview of hot weather over the next 6 to 15 days

Likely still somewhat changeable at first, but there is a signal for increasingly settled weather during this period. There remains a risk of thundery showers, however. Temperatures initially near or slightly above average, but likely becoming more reliably above average with a risk of very warm spells, especially in the east and southeast.

Overview of hot weather over the next 16 to 30 days

Settled weather remains most likely, but this does not rule out some thundery outbreaks. Temperatures are likely to be above average, with a continuing risk of very warm or hot spells, especially in the east and southeast.
