CQC Notification

Dear Provider

We have been notified by the CQC that they will shortly be assessing our Adult Social Care services. 

This means that we need to share some information with them by 10 January, and expect them to be on-site between April and July 2025. 

Before then, the CQC may contact you, and when they are here, they may ask to speak to you as well as groups of residents, partners, providers, councillors and staff.  

The Local Government Association has recently reviewed our Adult Social Care services as well as the Council more broadly, and these reviews have confirmed that we know ourselves well. The CQC Assurance is a great opportunity for us to build on this and showcase how we work together with our diverse communities, partners and providers like you to help people live the life that matters to them and make Sutton an inclusive place for all.

We have much to be proud of in how we deliver Adult Social Care together in Sutton, and our continued focus on people, partnerships and place is helping us to improve performance across all areas while addressing our budget challenges.

I welcome your support with this process and look forward to continuing to work together with you to highlight some of our excellent work here in Sutton to the CQC Assurance team.
