Sutton has moved its telecare service to Medequip Connect from Careium from 1 August 2023. To make sure everyone’s equipment is working and answered by Medequip Connect, we are asking all of our carers to push the red button on the front of the telecare device (shown in the pictures below) to put through a test call to the Medequip Alarm Receiving Centre or if the resident is wearing a falls sensor press this.
When you get through to the call handler please can you check the following information:
- The name of the resident
- The address of the resident
- The type of device they have in their property.
If the telecare device is not plugged in when you visit please can you report this urgently to Medequip Connect – [email protected] or call 03300 163 655. If you feel comfortable plug the device back into a wall plug socket and ensure the resident has their pendent.
