Thrive LDN is working with community organisations to support the mental health needs of young people from displaced communities. As part of this work, Thrive LDN has partnered with The Nelson Trust to deliver online trauma informed training to support the mental health needs of children and young people, including a focus on Hong Kongers arriving in London. The training is intended to help those working in the education sector review services with a particular focus on cultural humility and responsiveness.
Although there will be a focus on the Hong Kong community, it is intended to have value for those providing any form of support for children and young people who may have been exposed to trauma.
