Leader of Sutton Council, Councillor Ruth Dombey, and Chair of the People Committee, Councillor Marian James, have sent a virtual Christmas card to the borough’s social care community, to give thanks for their efforts caring for our most vulnerable residents this year.
“It has been a difficult year,” Councillor James wrote in her Sutton Care Bulletin foreword.
“One in which our care providers have had to adapt and react to unprecedented circumstances, in a constantly changing environment. Your incredible efforts this year are appreciated, hugely, by the whole borough.
“The bravery and compassion shown by staff to keep doing their jobs in the face of an unprecedented situation was nothing short of heroic.”
