If you are a European Union citizen, who is resident in the UK before 31 December 2020, you and your family members (including non-EU citizens) need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme if you want to continue to live, work and study in the UK after 30 June 2021.

The EU Settlement Scheme allows you to continue to live, work and study here in the UK. It means you will continue to be eligible for:

  • public services, such as healthcare and schools
  • public funds and pensions
  • British citizenship, if you want to apply and meet the requirements

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2021.

Sutton Council is legally prevented from offering any advice or guidance regarding your application or any other issue related to immigration.
