DESCRIPTION:Face to face training: \n2 hour sessions are being held at Sutton Civic offices every Tuesday\, Thursday and Friday afternoons throughout November\, December and January and will continue through February if the demand is there. 2 hour slots can be booked between 12pm and 5pm to provide greatest flexibility. \nThe 2 hr session covers: \n\nHow does COVID-19 spread?\nHand hygiene\nWearing the right PPE for the job\nHow to ‘Don’ PPE appropriately\nHow to ‘Doff’ safely\nWaste management\n\nAll places must be booked through Sarah Brown via email as we are limited to eight people per session in order to maintain the 2m social distancing recommendations. \nVirtual training: \nWe are also offering virtual training via microsoft teams\, covering the same topics\, lead by a dedicated Infection Prevention Control Nurse. DESCRIPTION:Each week there is an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist on the webinar who will share updated information and guidance in relation to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) in Care Homes.  There is an opportunity to ask questions of the IPC specialist on the webinar.  \nThere is also an information sharing session which includes guest speakers and useful information to support Care Homes during the COVID Pandemic on a wide range of issues. \nWeekly FAQ sheets are sent out at the end of each week sharing the information from the webinar via local leads.
