DESCRIPTION:We will be holding a weekly Q&A session for all Care Home Providers\, every Wednesday 4 – 5pm\, via google meet. The session will give you an opportunity to ask questions and discuss situations arising due to COVID-19. The session is optional\, and you can drop in and out of the session as you are available. We will be compiling a Q&A log for the session which will be circulated in the following Care Home Newsletter.\n\n\nIf you have any questions you would like to share in advance of the session please send to asc.providercomms@sutton.gov.uk and mark FOR Q&A LOG. Questions may be asked during the session which have not been submitted in advance\, however please note we may need to come back to you with an answer at a later date.

SUMMARY:Infection prevention and control training
DESCRIPTION:Face to face training: \n2 hour sessions are being held at Sutton Civic offices every Tuesday\, Thursday and Friday afternoons throughout November\, December and January and will continue through February if the demand is there. 2 hour slots can be booked between 12pm and 5pm to provide greatest flexibility. \nThe 2 hr session covers: \n\nHow does COVID-19 spread?\nHand hygiene\nWearing the right PPE for the job\nHow to ‘Don’ PPE appropriately\nHow to ‘Doff’ safely\nWaste management\n\nAll places must be booked through Sarah Brown via email as we are limited to eight people per session in order to maintain the 2m social distancing recommendations. \nVirtual training: \nWe are also offering virtual training via microsoft teams\, covering the same topics\, lead by a dedicated Infection Prevention Control Nurse.
