The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is safe and effective and gives you the best protection against coronavirus.
It is our best defence against the spread of the virus.
The NHS is rolling out the largest vaccination programme in our history. Approved vaccines have been rigorously tested and confirmed as safe and highly effective by the expert Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Sutton Council have provided more local information on the COVID-19 vaccine on their website and there are a number of webinars, Q&A sessions and meetings planned in south west London to help you and your staff better understand the vaccine.

Upcoming Live Webinars
South West London CCG are holding a series of live Q&A sessions for staff to attend, ask questions or learn more.
Any member of staff from any gender or background who wants to know more can attend the following session:
Tuesday 9 February at 11.00am – 12.00pm
Race Religion Background or Beliefs COVID-19 Vaccine Information with Dr Vasa Gnanapragasam and Sedina Agama
Questions may be submitted in advance please email firstname.lastname@example.org but you are also welcome to ask questions during the session via the chat function or audio call.
The clinicians present will be there to support staff in making an informed choice with evidence based information.
Daily drop in Q&A sessions
From the 1 February to 15 February, daily Q&A drop in sessions between 3-4pm and 7-8pm will be held where staff can come and raise questions on the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Clinicians will be available to help answer questions during those times.
Please see the poster below and share it with your staff. These sessions will be running on evenings and weekends too.

Accessing COVID-19 vaccine appointments
Self-booking links and letters of eligibility have been sent out by the Local Authority to access a vaccine.
If you have any other issues or questions regarding booking, including digital issues; or if you have staff who are anxious about attending a hospital site and would prefer to attend a GP clinic or pharmacy then please email: HomeCare.CovidVaccine@swlondon.nhs.uk
